Ron Maja has its roots in El Salvador. No less a figure than Francisco Fernández – better known as Don Pancho – was involved in the development of the recipe. Ron Maja 12 Años is a rum distilled from molasses and aged in former bourbon barrels of American white oak.
Tasting Notes: At first, this rum is a little withdrawn in the nose, but then reveals a beautiful, mature aroma. Vanilla, hints of nuttiness, oak wood and caramel. On the palate it has a well-balanced, spicy sweetness – definitely a good drop to savor!
